Still working in manual

I refuse to go back to auto at this point. Either I just dive in and force myself to learn manual or I give up :) I am getting ready to start my first lesson on Shutterbugs so hopefully that will help me get the hang of this better! First try in Manual

Well, I gave it a shot but I must admit that I have NO clue what I am doing yet. I really need to sit down with my camera manual but haven't had time yet. I don't think these are too bad. The one of Jack seems a bit over exposed to me. Poor kid is sick, yet again and I caught him mid-sigh.

Well, here we go!

I received a wonderful new camera for Christmas thanks to my fabulous family who chipped in for it! This blog is my way of sharing with my Yada Shutterbugs my attempts at photography. I hope to learn many new and wonderful things! I will work on a new and exciting page design as I get more comfortable with this whole "blogging" thing.

Here are just a couple of pictures I have taken with my camera so far! I like these pictures because I think they show "some" artistic vision. Now I just have to learn how to take pictures out of Auto mode and I will be on my way!
